Watch Out Behind You, Baby (2026)

Starring Park Shin-hye, Lee Min-ho, Kim Soo-hyun, and Seo Ye-ji

One of the most anticipated Korean thrillers of 2026, Watch Out Behind You, Baby, is already generating intense buzz thanks to its powerhouse cast and an atmosphere thick with paranoia. Blending psychological tension with crime mystery, the film promises a slow-burn descent into fear where danger is never where you expect it — until it’s far too close.

At the center of the story is Ji-eun (Park Shin-hye), a woman whose seemingly ordinary life begins to fracture under the weight of an invisible presence. Strange incidents escalate from subtle disturbances to undeniable threats, forcing her to confront a terrifying possibility: someone is watching her — and has been for a long time.

Park Shin-hye delivers a performance rooted in vulnerability and strength, portraying a character whose growing fear slowly transforms into determination.

A Detective With a Past

Lee Min-ho plays Seung-jae, Ji-eun’s ex and a seasoned detective burdened by unresolved trauma. When Ji-eun turns to him for help, their reunion is far from simple. Old wounds resurface as they dig into a crime long buried — one that may connect directly to the chilling events unfolding around her.

The emotional tension between them adds another layer to the investigation, blurring the line between trust and doubt.

Kim Soo-hyun appears as a reclusive hacker whose access to hidden digital trails could unlock the truth behind the mystery. Quiet, calculating, and morally ambiguous, his character operates in the shadows, holding pieces of a puzzle that no one fully understands.

Meanwhile, Seo Ye-ji’s presence adds a haunting unpredictability. Introduced as an innocent figure within Ji-eun’s circle, her character gradually becomes one of the film’s most unsettling enigmas. Is she a victim… or something far more dangerous?

Fear That Feels Personal

Rather than relying solely on action, Watch Out Behind You, Baby builds tension through atmosphere — dimly lit hallways, surveillance footage glitches, and moments of silence that feel suffocating. Every scene reinforces one central idea: the real terror isn’t what you see… it’s what you sense.

As the investigation deepens, Ji-eun discovers a horrifying truth — the threat is not distant or random. It is deliberate. And it is close.

A High-Stakes Psychological Thriller

With its blend of emotional drama, technological intrigue, and psychological suspense, Watch Out Behind You, Baby positions itself as one of 2026’s most gripping thrillers. Featuring four of Korea’s most prominent stars, the film combines star power with layered storytelling and nerve-rattling tension.

Because sometimes, the most dangerous place isn’t the dark.

It’s right behind you.
