“The Hangover 4” (2025) brings the infamous Wolfpack back together for another outrageous adventure filled with chaos, confusion, and hilariously disastrous consequences. This time, the film kicks off with Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug reunited years after trying to settle into more responsible lives. Just when it seems like they’ve finally grown out of their wild antics, they are unexpectedly drawn into another bachelor party—this time for Alan, who has shockingly found love and is ready to get married. Despite their initial hesitation, the friends agree to celebrate, promising themselves it will be a calm and controlled weekend.
Of course, things spiral out of control almost immediately. The group travels to Rio de Janeiro, chosen by Alan’s fiancée’s family as the perfect spot for a pre-wedding celebration. What starts as a simple night of drinks and music turns into a chaotic blur when the Wolfpack wakes up the next morning with no memory of the night before. To their horror, Alan’s wedding ring is missing, Stu’s passport has disappeared, and Doug is nowhere to be found once again.

As they scramble to piece together what happened, the group retraces their steps across Rio, uncovering bizarre clues that range from an exotic parrot in their hotel suite to a mysterious tattoo on Phil’s arm. Along the way, they get entangled with local gangs, a flamboyant street performer who insists they owe him money, and a shady businessman connected to Alan’s missing ring. Every revelation leads to even more outrageous situations, testing their patience, their sanity, and their friendship.
Stu once again finds himself pushed to the edge, terrified of losing his family back home, while Phil tries to keep everyone calm despite his growing frustration. Alan, as always, manages to create more problems than solutions with his bizarre logic and unpredictable behavior. Yet beneath the madness, the Wolfpack’s loyalty to one another remains unshakable, and their determination to put the pieces together drives the story forward.

The film builds to a riotous climax during Rio’s Carnival, where the group must navigate parades, music, and thousands of costumed dancers while desperately trying to track down Doug. The colorful chaos provides the perfect backdrop for the Wolfpack’s final showdown with the criminals who have been trailing them since their disastrous night.
In the end, they recover Alan’s ring, rescue Doug, and just barely make it back in time for Alan’s wedding. Despite all the setbacks and absurd events, the experience strengthens their bond and reminds them that some friendships, however dysfunctional, are built to last.
“The Hangover 4” captures the spirit of the earlier films while offering fresh laughs, new locations, and even crazier predicaments. It’s a wild ride of comedy and chaos, proving that no matter how much the Wolfpack tries to settle down, trouble will always find them.
