Several years after the events of 2 Guns, Robert “Bobby” Trench and Marcus “Stig” Stigman have gone their separate ways, trying to return to some semblance of normal life. Bobby works quietly in a lower-profile DEA capacity, while Stig, still bound by guilt and obligation, conducts covert naval intelligence operations under deep cover. Both men carry the scars—physical, emotional, and political—of their chaotic alliance and the fallout from the $43 million heist.
Their uneasy peace is shattered when a fresh scandal erupts: a new secret fund, tied to classified CIA black ops and corrupt politicians, surfaces. The money trail leads to a foreign port in Colombia, where a cartel has quietly amassed influence by laundering funds through front companies. The fund is rumored to be ten times larger than what Bobby and Stig once stole—too big to ignore. This conspiracy drags both men back into the fray, and they find themselves targeted by the same shady networks that once betrayed them.

Forced back into each other’s orbit, Bobby and Stig’s reunion is tense. They carry mistrust, secrets, separated lives—and rising threats. Along the way they recruit allies: a savvy intelligence analyst who once worked with Deb Rees, a local Colombian fixer with connections to the cartel underworld, and a disillusioned CIA operative who regrets past orders. Together they probe deeper, unearthing that the stash of money is tied to off-books operations, covert assets, and a rogue cell within the agency determined to cover their tracks by eliminating loose ends.
Betrayals surface. Former allies become enemies; past sins resurface. Bobby and Stig must navigate politics, double agents, and assassins while staying one step ahead of those who want them dead. They dodge drone attacks, interrogations, and covert military units. Every twist forces them to question their moral lines—how far they will go to protect each other, and whether their friendship still holds under such pressure.

The climax converges in Colombia’s shipping yards—a showdown inside a converted cargo vessel where the illicit funds and black-ops documents are stored. Bobby, Stig, and their allies fight through corridors of containers, explosives, and gunfire. At a key moment, one must sacrifice for the other, redeeming past betrayals. They manage to expose the corrupt cell, recover much of the money, and escape just as authorities descend on the port.
In the end, Bobby and Stig walk away battered, with more questions than answers. The money is secured, corrupt agents exposed, but they understand that reconciliation is a process. The film closes on them parting—again—but this time their bond is more solid, tempered by trials and a renewed purpose. And somewhere in the shadows, the story hints that the fight isn’t over: there are deeper forces still pulling strings, leaving room for another chapter.
