Creed 4 Teaser Trailer (2025)

Creed 4 has officially been announced, with Michael B. Jordan returning both as lead actor (Adonis Creed) and director.  Irwin Winkler confirmed that they are working on a “really good story and plot,” though that development has been delayed by external issues like strikes.

While exact plot details have not been revealed, several sources suggest that Creed 4 may shift its narrative focus somewhat. One strong possibility is that the story will involve more of Adonis’s life outside the ring — especially his role as father to his daughter Amara. It is suggested that Amara may become more involved in boxing, perhaps being trained or mentored by Adonis.

Creed 4 Release Date Rumors: Is It Coming Out?

Another possible direction is placing Adonis in the position of trainer or mentor, rather than simply fighter. Having “passed the baton” to a younger generation (such as a protégé or his own daughter) is a theme that seems under consideration. Some rumors also suggest that there could be new opponents, maybe in new locations (Mexico has been discussed in speculation) which could allow for more international flavor or expanded settings.

Another open question is whether Adonis returns to active fighting, or whether he transitions more fully into a role coaching, training, or promoting. There is tension between what fans expect (a big fight) and what the creative team seems wary of doing “just for the sake of another sequel.” Michael B. Jordan has stated he doesn’t want to make the film unless the story feels right.

Creed 4 est en développement

Cast likely returning includes Tessa Thompson as Bianca, and Wood Harris as Tony “Little Duke” Evers. Amara (played by Mila Davis-Kent) is expected to be part of the story, especially if the themes lean toward legacy and generational change. There is less clarity about which past antagonists (if any) will return, since some actors and roles may not be able to come back for various reasons.

Overall, Creed 4 seems poised to explore new terrain: balancing Adonis Creed’s identity as a fighter with his identity as a father and mentor, possibly introducing a younger boxer under his wing, and raising the emotional stakes beyond the ring. Whether the film will include one climactic fight, or shift toward mentorship and family, remains to be seen. The project is still in development/pre-production, so more specific plot details are likely forthcoming.
