All of Us Are Dead – Season 2 continues the intense, emotional, and horrifying journey that began in the first season. After the devastating outbreak of the zombie virus at Hyosan High School, the second season picks up months later, with the city quarantined and the rest of the country desperately trying to contain the infection. The survivors are scattered and traumatized, still haunted by the friends they lost and the choices they had to make.
Nam On-jo, Su-hyeok, and the remaining students are trying to rebuild some sense of normal life in a government-run shelter. However, they still worry about their half-zombie friend, Choi Nam-ra, who left them behind to protect others. Rumors begin to spread about a group of evolved infected—humans who are no longer fully zombies but possess dangerous strength, intelligence, and even emotion. The military begins to fear that the virus is not only mutating but spreading again.

When Nam-ra suddenly makes contact, warning them that there are others like her being hunted or experimented on, the group decides to secretly leave the shelter to find her. Their journey through ruined cities, empty schools, and zombie-infested zones is both dangerous and emotional. Along the way, they meet new characters—some kind, some ruthless—who have all been shaped by the apocalypse in different ways.
The series deepens its themes of survival, identity, and morality. The halfbies—humans infected but still self-aware—face discrimination and fear from both the military and uninfected civilians. Nam-ra becomes a symbol of this new evolution, struggling to protect others while controlling the monster inside her. The friends must decide if they can trust these new beings or if they pose a threat to what’s left of humanity.

Tensions rise when a rogue scientist tries to recreate the virus, believing that the halfbies are the key to human evolution. As a new outbreak begins in a different part of Korea, the government prepares to wipe out anyone infected—no matter how human they still seem. The students must race against time to expose the truth and prevent another tragedy.
All of Us Are Dead – Season 2 is darker, bolder, and more emotional than before. It explores not just survival, but what it means to be human in a world where the line between monster and person is no longer clear. It leaves viewers questioning: who is really the enemy—the virus, or the fear it creates?
