Predator 6: Badlands takes the iconic sci-fi action franchise into a new and unforgiving setting — the scorched, lawless deserts of the American Southwest. The film opens with a series of mysterious disappearances near an abandoned mining town, now occupied by smugglers, mercenaries, and drifters trying to survive in a landscape without rules. Unknown to them, the Badlands have become the latest hunting ground for a Predator clan seeking to prove themselves through the ultimate challenge: hunting the most dangerous prey Earth has to offer.
The story follows former special forces operative Lucas Kane, a man haunted by a failed mission that cost his entire team. Living off the grid, Lucas is pulled back into action when his estranged sister, a photojournalist investigating illegal weapons trafficking, vanishes in the Badlands. Joined by a ragtag group of survivors — including a combat medic, a retired sheriff, and a reformed arms dealer — Lucas ventures deep into hostile territory, only to discover that the human threat is nothing compared to what lurks in the dunes.

The Predator in this film is unlike any before. Taller, more heavily armored, and equipped with brutal close-combat weapons adapted for the harsh desert environment, it stalks its prey using the terrain’s extremes to its advantage. Blinding sandstorms, searing heat, and the maze-like canyons become part of its deadly game. The hunters use cloaking technology not only for invisibility but to manipulate heat signatures, making it nearly impossible to track them in the open sun.

As the body count rises, Lucas realizes the Predator is not hunting at random — it is targeting the most dangerous humans in the Badlands to collect their skills and trophies as part of a blood rite. The survivors’ only chance is to turn the environment against the Predator, forcing it into close quarters where its technology offers less advantage. This leads to a tense cat-and-mouse chase through the ruins of the old mining tunnels, where ancient explosives and unstable shafts become both weapon and trap.
The climax is a brutal showdown under a midnight thunderstorm, the lightning revealing flashes of the Predator’s silhouette as Lucas fights for his life. In the final moments, Lucas manages to wound the creature severely, forcing it to retreat, but not before it marks him with a cryptic symbol — a sign that the hunt between them is far from over.
Predator 6: Badlands blends intense survival action with the franchise’s signature suspense, delivering a gritty, high-stakes battle between hunter and hunted, set against a world where even the land itself can kill you.
